Pre-election notes

Things are going quite well here in Tyler, Texas in advance of the election.  However, I've noticed a significant slowing in visits - not only to my realty blog, but also to my website: www.johncmartin.com.

It looks as if this election is going to be very close......probably less that 1% in either direction.  If property taxes and income taxes and sales taxes go up in order to cover government shortfalls, the impact will be horrific; and real estate will be negatively affected (as will everything else).  We all need to extend ourselves in order to protect our freedoms.....especially the freedom to own a home and be free to live without onerous government intrusion.

Go and vote; and invest your time and some money in order to preserve your freedoms.
