Finally! Some rain.

We've had a bit of a tough time in East Texas over the last two months due to the lack of rain. The lakes are seriously low, and the counties have issued burn bans on everything..... including charcoal grilling! Boaters and fishermen can't get into the lakes from many locations due to low water.

But we've had a two + inch rainfall, and another one is due Saturday and Sunday of this week. That won't end the drought, since we're down about fifteen inches; but it will certainly help.

However, Tyler Texas real estate has opened the year looking very strong. Even the lovely lake homes are still popular. Folks suspect that the lakes will recover this spring, and the boating and fishing will be back.
